The Show-File Compatibility Matrix

The Show-File Compatibility Matrix

Which show-file formats the major outdoor drone show platforms actually accept and export — documented, not assumed.

A producer or designer handing a show off to an operating fleet has to know, concretely, what file format that fleet's software accepts. That information already exists — in each platform's own documentation — but it's scattered across separate docs sites, help centers, and developer pages. This matrix collects it in one place, cell by cell, each traced to a public doc link with an access date.

MethodologyHow platforms were selected and what counts as a documented fact.

Documentation-sourced facts only

Every cell traces to a platform's own public documentation — no inference from general industry knowledge, no capability judgments, and no "best for" language. Where a platform's docs don't state a fact, the matrix says so rather than guessing. See the methodology page for the full sourcing discipline.

Why Sitara Skies publishes this

Sitara Skies designs shows for partner-operated fleets — delivery in the format the operating fleet ingests is a working claim, not a marketing line, and this matrix is the published version of the homework behind it. See aerial show design.
