About The Show-File Compatibility Matrix
Which show-file formats a drone platform ingests and exports is already written down — in that platform's own documentation. This page collects it in one place.
Why this exists
A producer or designer choosing how to hand off a show to an operating fleet has to know, concretely, what file format that fleet's software actually accepts. That information exists, but it's scattered across each platform's own docs, help center, and developer pages. This matrix collects it — format by format, with a link to the source doc for every cell.
Rules of the road
- Documentation-sourced facts only. Every cell traces to a platform's own public doc page, linked with an access date. Nothing is inferred or assumed from general industry knowledge.
- No capability judgments. No "best for," no comparative language between platforms — this is a facts-only reference.
- Version caveats are noted, not smoothed over. Where a platform's docs describe a feature as version-specific, the matrix says so.
- Gaps are left open, not guessed. If a platform's documentation doesn't state a fact, the cell says so rather than inferring an answer.
Status & refresh
